#286 Never Forget Mr. Frumpy
So many cars! At least they’re easier to draw than the motorcycle.
Drawing digitally has been working out really well. It actually helps me make better backgrounds. It’s easier to add the backgrounds because I can use different layers to keep my foreground art from getting in the way. I used a different pencil color for the background elements and that makes it easier to read when I’m inking it. Here’s an example from today’s page.
Speaking of cars… I wonder how Lane explained the “accident” with his previous car to the insurance company?
As someone who also has a beloved stuffed bear, I’m glad Mr. Frumpy got put back together. And he got a badass eyepatch! My bear only has really scratched up eyes, which I guess is the stuffed animal equivalent of glaucoma.
@Westside guy:
I don’t know, but it must have come out well since he has a much nicer car now than he used to.
@Westside guy
@Marscaleb
I’m not sure what accident or other car you two are talking about.
Maybe Westside guy and Marscaleb are thinking that the car the witch threw was Lane’s?
Yeah, I was talking about the one the witch tossed – I assumed it was Lane’s, but maybe that’s not correct?
Yeah, that was just some random car… though now I can understand why somebody might have thought it was Lane’s. He did happen to know about what kind of mileage it gets.
