With Christmas coming up this next week, I can’t guarantee my updates will be the best, but I’ll see what I can do. I hope the holidays are happy and safe for all of you.

I’m not surprised. I only expected this to happen on the Friday update instead of today.
Merry Christmas, everybody!
And to borrow from “It’s a Wonderful Life”… to Alec, Tadashi and the others:
“And a Happy New Year to you – in jail!”
I am pretty sure they don’t end up in jail for various reasons, most notably because effectively that isn’t too much different from killing off the characters, which ends the story in a rather awkward way. A lot of things would at this point right now, which is why I’m surprised the Chief appears now and not after a few other things happened (mostly to give a sense of time having passed since the escape from Slate).
Also, what happened to the Finisher’s henchmen in the last arc? It is implied they were killed, but at the same time nothing really lethal happened to them – they just received a few punches. Enough to end in a hospital, maybe, but dead? Ehr, you have to be pretty unlucky. Sally is genre-savvy enough to finish Buck off with a gunshot, but I doubt it in the case of Alec and his female opponent.
I would just be like: “Actually we are the body guards for the eGirls. Livewire’s bodyguards are a viking and a mongol.”
Better locked up than six feet under, I suppose.
Merry Christmas!
