#302 Lamp-Proof
I had hoped to get ahead more this weekend, but I got called in to work on Saturday to take care of some things. We’ll see how things go on my new schedule. I think it might turn out okay, I just won’t be able to do some of my other hobbies for a while. Working on this comic is how I will unwind.
Haha, this reminds me of one of the funniest sequences from Stargate: Atlantis. McKay and Sheppard had found an Ancient personal shield, which they tested by throwing McKay off a high platform. Then Sheppard mentioned he’d shot McKay as another test earlier. When the commander glared at him, Sheppard said “it was only in the leg!” as if that would make it acceptable to any reasonable person…
This page made me laugh out loud.
From that moment onward, Alec began to miss his helmet back home.
That aside, I’m more interested in how Fox managed to get kevlar lining for something like so casually. Underground connections, or a friend who does this sort of thing for a hobby?
Jonathan: It’s the latter. Foxx has a friend who was able to do it for her, and he was convinced it was something Renaissance Fair related when he did. I opted not to get into it because I wanted to move the story along.
