Seems more foundational, not a lot happening quite yet. All we know is that for some reason there is no sheriff right now, and there has been enough time since the last sheriff that people are beginning to question the position being filled, and for some reason the people of the town believe that the position is filled on a volunteer basis. I can’t say i lived back then to know the politics of the time. But it seems we might learn more in the coming days and i’m excited to learn more of the timeline involved. Bring on the “Wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey stuff”.

Sure, this one brings in a stronger human element, but it’s been six panels already and no one has drawn a gun. Where’s the action?
