I could be wrong, but I thought the female sur-attachment in Japanese would make her Hyo-chaunn (or however it’s spelled for phoenetic pronunciation…).
Well, now I feel embarrassed. I guess I just assumed that since Tadashi was from Japan that the other people of Asian descent would also be. Way to go me, I guess for making an assumption.

I’m pretty sure Hyo-Sonn is Korean, if anyone has doubts they could always check the archive to see if her nationality came up in the past.
