So the prison has all electronic locks with no manual overrides at all? Talk about poor planning. I wonder how many people will lose their jobs (or possibly worse) over this.

I suspect that there *are* manual overrides. But, read the sentence “Feel free to assume they rushed a LOT more guards on their way out.” That would perhaps mean that those guards were so totally surprised and overwhelmed that they could not GET to the manual overrides.
@Aasgier: I still think the primary purpose is to create chaos, so whatever goes down at Atharion tonight does not raise too many questions.
But pinning it on lifewire especially if they can not fight back? Yeah, that would just be good idea for the bad guys.
