    Personally, I would have been a bit more blunt.
    “You asked if people bringing weapons and making the plane crash is a thing that happens? Well it happened once, and it really scared a lot of people, and now everyone has to go through these uncomfortable security measures to make sure no one has any weapons.”

    Brooke is really lucky elves aren’t more sensitive to X-rays than human. Come on, she’s different species, who knows what can hurt her?

    It could also be millimeter wave. I’d be more concerned for the operator looking at the display and seeing that the elf ears were biological…

    Those devices don’t actually work like the TSA claims they do. It’s nothing more then what is called ‘security theater’. They talk about this extensively on a show titled: Adam Ruins Everything. It’s a comedy but it also reveals lots of hidden facts the average person might not know about. I highly recommend it.
