The usual best argument about Air Safety is to say: “You had a higher chance to die in a car accident while driving to the airport, then actually flying with the thing”.
Nah. The best argument is the fact that, even of the planes that crash, only 3% of THOSE end in fatalities. Even with both engines out, they’re able to make a safe landing a good portion of the time, and that’s probably the worst case scenario.
The issue would be getting those two to believe all that…
Magic, mechanics, whatever. If it works, it works. Brooke’s argument still holds: With this many lives at stake they’d do what it takes to keep everyone safe.
LOVE Alec’s and Brooke’s expressions in the last panel.
Don’t worry, these things hardly ever fall from the sky.

Is that Chung Li behind them?
Why’d you have to tell her that? But the last panel looks really funny. 😀

Way to go dude you scared them both.
I hope for their sakes that the inflight movie isn’t ‘Flying High’ or ‘Passenger 57’.
And now for your in-flight movie: Red Tarmac!
Sometimes, you should let people keep their illusions….

Nah, the movie will be “Snakes on a Plane”.
My voto is to move past the plane for now…. the movie should be tokio gore police.
The turbulence is going to take years off their life.
I love how the explaination “it’s magic” works for them, but when you say mechanical they suddenly get worried.
Could have just said… “It’s the same principles which allow a dragon’s wings to work.”
