Nice going, Mister Slate. Announcing you are going to shoot some more so the exciteable miss Support has all the time to compose herself and bring up a new shield.
And Hyo-Sonn … running with your wooden sword at someone with an assault rifle is a bad idea.

I was binging this wonderful story and came to this sudden halt (pages ended 3/11/2019) and was brickwalled. Soooooooo good. This is/was just the kind of story telling I really like. Please stick with it.

Just like Brooke to pause in the middle of the fight, and hop up and down while applauding herself. And just weird enough that the gunman stopped firing, briefly, out of confusion.

“Meat shields” don’t actually usually work against bullets, but I guess this guy has bullet-proof armor, so
